This was our honeymoon trip. I’ve stayed at a nice hotel in Monteverde before, but Koora was exceptional. Wonderful rooms, manicured grounds, and the best restaurant we ate at on our whole trip. The staff could not have been better, and our couples massage was simply the best.
Classy modern room - one of the nicest we’ve stayed in - bathroom is straight out of an interior design magazine. Service is top-notch…with a small number of guests, they learn your names and go out of your way to make you feel comfortable. Love the setting on a woodsy mountainside. Nice trail system on the property. The two small pools are bathwater warm - would love it if they were hot tubs but they were still nice.

Excellent hotel with friendly stuff, very clean and quiet.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. The restaurant was very good. We had dinner, lunch, and breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed all of them. Only one downside, there was some kind of noise at night - we think it may have been trees banging against the roof of our room. It was loud enough it kept us up at night.
Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff both at reception and restaurant. Exceptional service. Rooms are beautiful and so clean. Very original set up with rooms spread out around property. Very scenic. It is hard to get to the hotel without transportation but the staff helps with everything and a taxi ride to the town is very inexpensive. So many tours that they arrange for you - all great. Highly recommended.
