it was nice and a good size

The toast was on the plate would have rather had side plates to put the toast on also the butter was frozen hard to spread the butter on the toast no jam for the toast on the table

Cosy clean and friendly lovely location

Beautiful setting, clean, rooms an excellent size. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the evening meal was delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Pretty much everything was great. Lovely spacious room. Good breakfast and when my partner expressed disappointment that there was no cereal, they offered to go to the shop across the road and get him some! and they did do so for our return visit two weeks later. Good food, Dave (?) the manager couldn't have been more helpful and he was on hand to resolve any minor detail at any time. Liked the individual toiletries, which is a rarity these days.

Beds were a bit strange - I felt like I was sleeping on a jelly. Not sure what kind of mattress it was.

Cooked breakfast - could choose what you wanted . As much Coffee as we could drink

Nothing - it’s a proper old country pub so people were outside drinking in the evening but pleasant and Friendly- no rowdiness .

The owners were very welcoming. The local people where so friendly too. We had the best evening in the pub mixing with the local people. The meal was excellent. The room was top class. Will definitely stay here again.
