Sydney Hyde Park Paxsafe Apartments

The room had a fan or aircon that was so loud and squeaky that it was getting to me a few times even after switching it off it seemed to still whistle. For the price I’m not sure why it’s that much maybe the view coz the bed was old and everything just seemed out dated. If it’s a private rental it’s in need of a makeover and personality chucked in. Yeah price is ridiculous for what you get.

The location

There was no clear instructions to the hotel, if we knew the name was Oaks Sydney Hyde park hotel we would of found it and stopped us driving around for 30 minutes looking.. We also didn’t know there was no parking. We paid $225 to stay for two nights in Liverpool street Wilson parking. The showers nozzle flung off and hit my daughter in the head and caused a bruise it also happened to me except I thankfully wasn’t in the shower at the time. The roll out bed was like sleeping on concrete. Hotel staff were not friendly.

It was close to the event we were attending, and the check-in/check out process was easy.

We stayed in room 708. There was no bin for rubbish. The taps in the bathroom don't work properly in the shower or sink, and the shower head falls down. It doesn't stay where you want it to have a shower.

Good quality furnitures and linen, easy access close to everything, nice building overall good stay

The cleanliness of the room was questionable. Towels had stains and mould spots. On Saturday night the lift has what i assumed to be a urine puddle in it

Good location & facilities

Apartment could do with minor refurbishment. The two lifts were small and at peak times it took some time for the lift to arrive with several stops, frequently no room to get in when the lift arrived

The towel in the bathroom was rotting, and there was a strong odor. The bathroom light didn’t turn on. I couldn’t contact the host. Our family just put up with it.

Only location was close to everything

Facility was so bad, beds was so un onfortable, wires goes to our body make us more tired. Noise of other rooms and street and smell bad whole corridors and all facillity was too old. Bath was too old we couldnt manage water tempreture while taking shower .
