The room was clean and smelled fresh

Friendly staff. Good location near businesses, restaurants, and especially Presque Isle State Park, which was my goal.

The heating/cooling system in the room was hard to operate and get at the right level.

The room was large and clean.

Elevator was not in operation, second time this has happened to us in this location. The bathroom was in good repair, but some of these were not visually appealing.

Everything but the bathroom sink was clogged

Rooms were really nice and affordable. Breakfast was good.

Very disappointed in our stay. The hotel is in serious need of a complete renovation. It was very obvious our room has been smoked in. The room had a lingering scent of cigarette smoke and was extremely damp and humid despite it being cool and dry outside. There didn’t seem to be a fan in the bathroom, so every time someone showered the room was unbearably humid. The staff was somewhat unprofessional - dressed in sweatshirts and beanie hats. It was fairly obvious that the place catered to construction workers passing through etc, there was a man outside drinking a case of beer on the sidewalk at night, and a man that pretty clearly lived in the hotel smoking right outside the front door each morning. Would not recommend staying here at all.
