Lagoon Apartments on Hamilton Island by HIHA

The staff were very responsive and accommodating whenever we had any issues. The place itself was well located, right near Catseye Beach, the main resort, and the entrance to the hiking tracks. Having access to two private pools was also a nice touch. The apartment itself was spacious and the air conditioning a life-saver! We were two couples but never felt like we were on top of one another. The complimentary golf buggy was amazing for getting around the island.

The apartment was definitely in need of a deep clean and some TLC. There was an instance where mould was clearly on one of the blinds and on the wardrobe doors, and we were surprised no staff had picked up on it. One of the toilet seats was loose, and one of the cupboards was off its hinges. However they were very accomodating in fixing the issues, and had done so within 24 hours. On our final day, some kind of renovations were taking place in the apartment above ours, with extremely loud drilling occurring before our check-out time. We would have appreciated warning that this was happening so we could plan to be out when this happened. Overall we had a good stay, but would likely choose somewhere else next time.

The only think l didn’t like about the property were just the couches. May be a leather would have been better so you can wipe them.

Very good accommodation in an excellent position. Easy walk to the beach and short ride in the golf buggy that comes with the apartment, to the marina shops restaurants and supermarket

Very little to dislike. Could do with a pair of scissors and an oven glove in the kitchen. Didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the place

Location was excellent, having a buggy supplied with the apartment was fabulous

Plumbing could do with some work, more towels would have been good

The beds were very hard and the lounge needed a good steam clean, both otherwise lovely.

Our apartment was lovely and spacious, well laid out for a family of 4. The complementary golf buggy was brilliant. We enjoyed then location, close to bush walks and cats eye beach. Nice and quiet. Loved our ground floor unit as we got to spend time with wildlife on our doorstep i.e. birds and roos

Dishwasher was broken Rubbish from previous tenants was still in kitchen on arrival No one was at ferry to meet us so was a little lost at start but didn't matter, I phoned and they helped me asap

the Team met us at arrivals and everything else was then easy:-)

that we had to leave and go back to work:-)
