Lagoon Apartments on Hamilton Island by HIHA

Very spacious for a group of friends to meet up and have the luxury of a kitchen to prepare food and lounge area to socialise.

Very minor thing but as friends were sharing it would be preferred to have the option of separating the bed in the main room.

Great location.

We asked not to be near the construction noise after being notified and told they would only be painting by this time, we were then put right next door to the renovation going on next door, this was very disappointing not being able to relax in our own place with trades cutting on the balcony next door! After notifying management they didn’t offer to move us to another unit and told us ‘ we thought would be finished by now’ this was exactly why we asked not to be near it!! Won’t be back, very poor communication.

We loved everything about the Property. Convenience of ground floor gave front and rear access. Close to the Beach, pool, dining and many extra activities to keep the family entertained whilst also some well earn’t R&R. The inclusion of a Golf Buggy was an added bonus, everyone loved zipping around the Island.

All the staff are nice and friendly. Very quick responses to all of the requests. Good view and good location.

The floor was sticky and all the kitchen equipment wasn't clean and quite old. Some of the dead cockroaches were in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Some of the living cockroaches are walking around in the kitchen and bedroom. The dated. Air conditioning in the second bedroom didn't work properly. The stove top didn't work as well. we need to call staff to bring us to lighter to be able to turn the stove on. The quilt in the second bed room wasn't clean. It got the dirty mark on it. We have to call the staff to come and change it. The knives were brunt and had no knife sharper. The staff who came to pick us up to the airport dropped one of my luggage down the hill while he was driving the buggy with no rope tightening around them to make sure they were secured, so my luggage got a lot of scratches from crashing on the floor and rolling down the hill and it was and expensive luggage too. I'm very disappointed. It was my fifth time holiday at Hamilton Islands. I had never experienced anything like this before, but this time, I brought my mum and my sister here to celebrate their birthday, so we were very disappointed with what had happened. Definitely not recommended and won't go back there.
