Location was good, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent with a good choice. the hotel was good value for the money

The bath room was very small and made showering difficult.

"King of the castle"

Interesting little village. Food was excellent. Nice room, well finished off.

Duvet was super thick, more suited to sleeping in an igloo.

"Lovely village pub"

Welcoming and helpful staff once we had arrived. Good food.

We asked about checking-in an hour early to freshen up before attending a family memorial service at the nearby church but we informed that this would incur a £30 charge! The bathroom was extremely small. Luckily neither of us is 'large'.
