"Klassisches kleines Hotel im altenglischen Pub-Stil mit gehobener angenehmer Atmosphäre"

Sehr entgegenkommendes nettes Personal. Gutes Abendessen in toller Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Pub ist super-gemütlich, es stehen überall Kerzen auf dem Tisch. Zum Frühstück wurde sogar der Kamin angemacht, was gerade für englische Verhältnisse sehr angenehm war. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar einen Balkon und war heizbar.

Der Teppich im Zimmer könnte bei Gelegenheit mal durch einen schöneren Belag ersetzt werden. Aber Teppich ist halt typisch englisch, was für einen Kontinental-Europäer immer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist.

"great food but very poor service"

Food was great

Service was terrible, took far too long and missing items, water/glasses. I understand they were busy but were polite but very under staffed
