Forest View Franz Josef

Location was fine, close to town. Bedrooms were good size, as were beds. Large bathroom.

The house could nominally cater for 9 people in terms of beds. There were just 4 of us, just as well considering the kitchen facilities. The fridge -- with no freezer -- could certainly not cater for more than the number. In addition to the dining table and 4 chairs, there were 2 couches, both equipped with cushions with springs which are essentially collapsed. One of these couches is half-inaccessible because the other is placed right in front of it, so obstructing access. No coffee making facilities of any kind: neither plunger nor drip. Plenty of other obvious limitations or complete absence of kitchen components. Surely consider providing laundry in the large bathroom? Also provide a clean table where we could sit outside as group. If it delivered at a higher level, then it would be value for money for a large group.

Nice location with only short walk to shops and bars yet felt out in the woods .

For 6 people the lounge kitchen area is small. Given that it can sleep 9 it would be cramped and hard with the one bathroom .

Good location, easy to get to Franz Josef glacier.

If there is extra bathroom would be more easy for group people living in. Overall is fine

For the number of beds there could have been another toilet. And extra lounge chairs.

It was a good place for 5 adults on a road trip around NZ.

For the amount of beds ( slept 9 in total) there was only 1 bathroom and it was next to a very basic kitchen with no oven( or dishwasher) . The directions to enter the property were not as accurate as they could be. The directions should be identify Forest View sign keep going on gravel road then go into the driveway to the left before the green covered gate.

Great amount of beds. Nice and clean.

The 3 separate bedrooms

We could not get any heating, the aircon was not heating, every where else we stayed warmed up our rooms before we got there, we were so cold.
