Quality Inn Port Clinton Waterfront

The coffee is amazing, it's part of the reason we went back. The view from the deck by the lake and the pool is beautiful. The shower in our room drained so slow as did the bathroom sink. Things to know- They are listed as cash accepted on the listing but they do not accept cash on premises. There is also a $100 refundable incidental fee that was not included in what we paid last year. Overall we like the place but there are some things that could be fixed and updated.

The whirlpool tub had some mildew spots that made it look unclean but overall we had a good stay the pool and deck area are nice and on the lake, beautiful view.

After entering my room I went to take a shower and found a damp women's bathing suit hanging on the shower curtain rod. As I turned on the shower the water sprayed out of a leak near the shower head and sprayed out onto the bathroom floor and the vanity area. I eventually had to wrap a washcloth around the leak to avoid a flooded bathroom floor. Finally, the drain on the tub/shower was at least partially clogged and by the time I finished a 7 minute shower, the tub had 8-9 inches of standing water that didn't completely drain for about 30 minutes.

Terrible all the way around!

Building needs a little TLC.

Property was filthy. Room was extremely small

Upon arrival desk clerk was un friendly room didn’t seem to have been checked for cleanliness before arrival. Spiders in tub spout and mayfly on top of hair dryer. Carpet inside needs cleaning or replacing. Also 1st floor windows and sills were filthy and carpet looked like hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. Overall place needs to be taken care of.

Overall, this hotel is run-down. Our room itself was clean, but common areas and exterior areas were dirty. We requested/reserved a waterfront room with a view of Lake Erie, but got a view of the pool instead. Also, there was no hair dryer and no WiFi. The weekend staffing was foreign college students who were unresponsive to our inquiries about the hairdryer and WiFi.

the rooms were fine - comfortable, the breakfast wasn't the greatest...ran into double booking and the hotel refuses to refund money, and unfortunately expedia did not help.

Our room, which is supposed to be smoke free, reeked of smoke and smelled musty. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub, part of the "desk" that held the mini fridge was falling apart after appearing to have been damaged by moisture. The beds weren't the worst thing I've slept on, but the blankets and sheets were itchy and very cheap, and the breakfast was very lacking. I honestly wouldn't stay here again. Not at the price we paid.
