Wellness Santa Hotel - Adults Only

This hotel has some great qualities, but could be even better if management took just a few small things into consideration. First, their "policy" is to only provide one room key for two people. No real reason given, just their policy. I have never encountered this at any other hotel and just makes no sense. Second, there is currently only one option on site for dinner which costs 18 euro per person and is buffet style. When I inquired about having food delivered from a local place I was told outside food is not allowed in the hotel. The pool bar stops serving food at 6 pm. So you either walk to a restaurant nearby or pay for the buffet. Really just not customer centric. And because of COVID room service is not offered. Third, you will hear every single door on your floor slamming as people wake up. There are no silencers to keep the doors from slamming. I could not sleep in as beginning about 7 am doors are slamming repeatedly. Fourth, and at no fault of the hotel, but it is really out of the way for wanting to see Thessaloniki city center. Buses don't run to the hotel location so if you don't have a car your only option is taxi. It costs 30 euros to go 15 miles to the city center. If I were to go again I would definitely find another similar hotel much closer to the city center. The surrounding area of the hotel just doesn't have much to offer. The staff is kind and want to help but the management rules make it so they are not empowered to provide great customer service.

PROS: - Very clean and well maintained throughout the day - All Inclusive Food (great variety and quality) - Beds are very comfortable - Pool area turned into a restoran is very nice and cozy - Friendly staff - Location - Beach CONS: - Rooms could be bit larger - We had 3 rooms, same category and all 3 were somewhat different (balconies, bathrooms, floors...) - In one room we had no cold water in the shower, in another room there was no hair dryer. - Safe is too small for laptop, and one room had ancient safe with key (although key was missing) - No ice cream :) (this is 5 star, All Inclusive) - Charging 10 Euro for beach Umbrella (and 2 chairs) on Hotel's beach; adding at least a bottle of water would be nice touch .... but, none of these Cons should be a reason not to visit this Hotel

This was a great hotel with great staff - Already looking at going back with the family as this was a 4 day business trip. Went All inclusive and for the price paid I was happy. Bathroom in bedroom wins smallest I have ever encountered but I did go for a standard room.

Perfect in everything! Next to the beach! I’ve being coming to this Hotel for the past 4 years.every year is getting better and better.

Very Unique style, lovely pools and great location on the beach, 15 minutes from Airport and 30 minutes from Thessaloniki centre. Nice spacious rooms with great facilities. Only improvement required is the Breakfast, very poor quality breakfast for a hotel of this standard, This was our 2nd time here and we did enjoy our stay.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Wellness Santa Hotel and felt the price was an absolute steal for how nice it was. We were there in October 2020 during the pandemic, but felt safe the whole time because the hotel was super clean and they took extra precautions like serving you breakfast (rather than self-serve buffet). Our room was comfortable we loved the sea view from our balcony. We didn't use any of the spa facilities, but the pool looked very clean, and the hotel is right on the beach, within an easy 15-minute walk of a whole bunch of delicious beach bars and tavern restaurants. We'd recommend having a car to get around during your stay, but given that the hotel wasn't very full, it was never a problem to find a free parking spot just out front. Definitely recommended.

Get good stay all the through breakfast was unfortunately the worst I’ve seen in a hotel but everything else was lovely.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wellness Santa hotel. It was quiet - being the end of season, during a pandemic- but this suited me. Reception staff were always helpful and I was able to check-in early. It was clean and I felt safe there, although I needed to take my own alcohol wipes into the gym, which lacked any cleaning equipment. I loved the pools, particularly the spacious and refreshingly cool outdoor one. There were ample sun beds, with a charge of €5 (including a non-alcoholic drink) on the beach. The pool bar staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good but not great and I needed to bring my own decaffeinated coffee. Wi-Fi was great inside the hotel. My double room comprised two single beds pushed together and there was no kettle or ironing board, which I believe is standard practice but were amenities that I missed. The room cleaning varied each day in terms of attention to detail and did not feel environmentally friendly, with toiletries and towels being replaced unnecessarily. The gym was pretty well equipped for a hotel but most machines lacked instructions for use. The best thing about the hotel is its location, right on the beach in a quiet but well-serviced area. I was so pleased that I chose it. Would definitely recommend.

The Hotel itself is very nice and in a very good location, on the beach, only half an hour from Thessaloniki and 12 minutes from the Airport A very distinctive style ( not to everyone’s taste, however I act like it). There are lots of bars and restaurants walking distance for the Hotel, and the pool area is very nice and relaxing. A few minor items need improvement, The Breakfast is very poor for a 5 star hotel and needs improving urgently. They also shouldn’t really charge for using sun beds on the beach, Otherwise a great stay at a reasonable price and probably the best Hotel in this area.
