"It was nice to be able to walk around early and at night when it’s less crowded."

Great location for exploring Edinburgh for 2 nights. We walked every where- be prepared for going up and down hills and many steps!

I thought we would have a view of the castle from our room but the trees have grown. We did get a great view from the top of the steps!

"Excellent location to explore the city"

The hosts were helpful and friendly from time of booking. We found the apartment much more spacious and homely than a hotel room but similar price for centre. The apartment was centrally located, yet quiet, the grass market area is great with lots of good bars and cafes nearby offering a range of food and drink options. Easy reach of the castle (literally at the end of the street), national museum, festival theatre amongst other attractions. would definitely return.

"Great place to stay near Edinburgh Castle"

The location was perfect. It was a walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. I liked that it had a kitchen.

I had a little bit of trouble, figuring out how to use the dryer. Luckily this unit came with a drying rack and I could dry my clothes but I did have to use a towel to squeeze out my clothing because it didn’t spin enough to take out excess water.

"Perfectly located quiet well-equipped apartment near Edinburgh Castle"

The location is fantastic--perfect for getting to almost all areas of the city by foot. Right in the middle of the old city but shockingly quiet. So nice to have a little very well-equipped kitchen and fridge. Communication with the manager/owner was quick, helpful, and kind. All our questions were answered in time to actually use the information. We loved our stay here--would like to return when the trees outside the window are in bloom/have leaves!
