The hotel is badly maintained and the staff don’t take any feedback seriously to the point I felt I was being ignored. I really didn’t think that any hotels let out rooms that were as poor as this. No window which we knew about but the room smelled, was too hot, was poorly maintained, carpet damp and no wifi. Booked a double also and ended up with two singles which was the least of our worries tbh. Room was basically lower ground floor. Think a dungeon would have been an upgrade. This room should be used as a storeroom tbh. Not a hotel room for guests. Shocking.

Dirty walls , very noisy room near by was slaming shut , group of males drinking outside room window at 2am. Could not shower as broken, just a dribble from it, no bin in the room just a small bin in toilet. Terrible, told staff in the morning said yeah sorry with no eye contact an walked away in a hurry with zero sympathy whatsoever.. NEVER EVER STAY HERE EVER AGIAN!

GBThe hotel was in a great location in Dean village. The room was spotless and very spacious with everything you need for an overnight stay.

PKThe room was neat, clean, and well-equipped with good 3-star facilities including an iron and hairdryer. The view of the canal from the window was simply beautiful and added a peaceful touch to the stay. Good value for money overall.
The reception staff could have been more polite and welcoming – a little respect goes a long way in hospitality. Apart from that, everything else was satisfactory.

I always to like walking to city only 30 mins
GBBooked it late in the evening and the only room available had no windows. Not a problem at all as we just wanted to stay the night and leave early the following morning. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious and the bed felt quite comfy. Bedsheets and towels were clean. Huge TV on the wall straight opposite to the bed which was perfect for watching the World Cup. The location is very convenient to anyone travlling to Edinburgh and the parking (£7.50 for 24 hours) is worth it.
Not much. I noticed that there was a machine pumping air in the corridor for the rooms without windows (just a guess). I hadn't thought of that when I booked the room but it would not change my mind.
