This is still a nice hotel for the money. Linens and towels high quality. Pillows great and bed nice. Room was spacious. Food was reasonably priced - but hard to get. But, things seem to be slipping badly. No internet, even with Select Guest. Just none, anywhere in the building. Only two towels provided. No wash cloths. No Select Guest amenities offered. Room grade reserved and prepaid wasn't available, so only downgraded room was offered. No apology, no refund permitted. Check in personnel not nice (how do you find rude service people in Houston?). On the upside, the parking gates were broken, so parking was free. Restaurant understaffed. 10 minute wait to be seated for both breakfast and dinner, even though plenty of seating available (only two full tables at dinner, but still couldn't manage to seat the folks in line). Service was good after seating, but disorganized and stressed.
