Embassy Suites by Hilton St Louis Airport

Hotel was dirty. Room was outdated .

Smelly room on check in. AC broken. Within 10 min on check in, I requested change room. She refuses to give another room until AC checked by Technician, which will take more than an hour. I asked for cancel and refund. She told me to call tomorrow to talk to manager. Called Manger Ryan next day. He refused to refund. I have filed complaint to BBB. Will not recomed this facility at all.

Overall super dirty. Room smelt like cigarettes. Stains on the carpets & couch. Made my kids keep their shoes on the whole time it grossed us out so much. Bathroom was grimy. Pool area has seen better days and the water was very hazy. Outdated & unkept for the price for sure. Will stay elsewhere next time.

The staff at the front was very nice and helpful. Rooms have old furniture and dark. You open the door and the room smells musty. I bought air freshner from Walgreens and it was ok. Won't say not clean, but it looked like they didn't vacuum. Housekeeping didnt clean our room for 2 days. I left tip on the bed and nothing happened. Had to go downstairs and get trash bags and clean towels. Food is good and the staff was nice. Think I wont go back. Only because I would like to have a more updated room. Will try another Embassy Suite in St. Louis. Not at the airport.

BREAKFAST, 5:30 EMBASSY SNACK TIME, & BEAUTIFUL STAFF

This hotel was not worth the price we paid for one night . We get there to check in ask what time the pool closes she told us that it closed at 11 we checked in around 630 she told us the pool was closed for 15 minutes so we left for a few came back got dressed to swim and went down to the pool . We only got to swim for about 20 minutes before the closed the pool at 9 2 hours early . The guy locking up was very rude also. The pool wasn’t the cleanest either . When we Went up to our room the room after check in went it and it was very dirty didn’t looked like it had been cleaned from previous guests. The fridge smelled awful like rotten food. The toilet was clogged we had to ask for a plunger and plunge the toilet every-time someone used the bathroom . The sofa bed didn’t have any sheets on it and there was dirt on the top of it we had to shake off and when we lifted it up there was a really nasty looking stain on the bottom. The walls had writing on them and some kind of brown stuff in the bathroom . Room was just very unsanitary and was very dissatisfied I paid so much for a terrible room . It was also very hot in the room the air conditioning didn’t work properly we had it set to 70 and it was almost 80 degrees in our room . The desk staff was very helpful and nice .

Very misleading. Have never had issues with an Embassy Suites location until now. Room booked displayed King Suite with tub in images. Traveling with a small baby this is a necessity. Got here was relayed by staff all Kings only have showers. Floors very dirty. I scrubbed entryway for a bit. Carpet had food/few dog food pieces. My toddler will eat anything on floor she spots unfortunately. So I had to get to work as soon as we entered room after a long day of travel sadly. Stains on couch and carpet. Hotel furniture and appliance need a major update for amount guest are paying per night. I’ve stayed places for less for better experience/cleanliness. Room smells like smoked in. This stay is very unfortunate. Have a future stay booked at same location within next few months. Cancelling reservation. Highly recommend updating hotel or closing down. Definitely not up to par/meeting any other Embassy Suite locations experiences/stabdards I have experienced. This is unfortunate and surprising to my husband and self. Would have checked right out but difficult and stressful to book a new stay with small toddler in just minutes. Would love to be contacted by corporate/reimbursed for my stay.

Staff was awesome, from the moment we checked in till we checked out. Front desk staff always greeted us with a smile going in/out of the hotel. Good breakfast selection, easy parking, close to restaurants and stores. Will stay at this property again if ever in the St Louis area.

Workers nice and helpful. It was like 2pm when we arrived at hotel, but Hilton app showed our room key wasn’t ready. Went to front desk, the room I chose wasn’t ready, so front desk helped get me another room even if it was before actually check-in time. Breakfast at Embassy surpasses all other Hilton properties that give free breakfast. Omelette cook was great, never a line… even had a steak/potato omelette. Food always plentiful and filled. Parking always available, never full. The only reason I deducted a star was because our room was never cleaned for our 5 night stay. I did request service for at least one day, left a $5 tip with a list (remove garbage, need toilet paper & tissue as we ran out, extra towels, and refill body wash as it was empty). They didn’t refill the body wash, and I thought cleaning (vacuuming, wiping down tables, doing the beds) would be included but they didn’t clean.

Hotel was fine but the desk people were jerks when we left about them running shuttles every half hour for when we got back when we questioned them. After standing there for 45 min we called and still waited another 25 min to be picked up.
