Disneyland Hotel

The tower was old not remodeled yet it showed. But everything else was great. The trader bar pineapple treat machine kept breaking down so very disappointed

I love Disney so it disappoints me to write that I didn’t love my recent stay. The nightly rate is not cheap and I expected a certain standard, but the Disneyland Hotel is tired. My bathroom really needed to be renovated low ceiling and cramped and the lack of hot water each night was annoying. Maintenance are aware of the hot water problem but they are not able to improve the situation. California park also closed early, 5pm on one day during our stay, this could have been better communicated.

We are currently staying at the Disneyland hotel and while it’s not horrible it’s far from great especially for the price you pay to stay here. Proximity to the park is wonderful. We are in a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed and the sofa bed is so hard and uncomfortable you don’t even need to consider it for a bed. There is an ongoing sewer smell in the room. Tonight we have NO hot water. We reported the issue and engineers are working on it. We are in the Frontier Tower and it could use a renovation. I do have to give appraise to Luis S. that gave us a lovely turn down service that we were happy to see when we arrived from dinner. Certainly a thoughtful added touch that we needed on a rainy day. At 1k per night look for other options.

We loved our stay.

Visited with my granddaughter for my birthday. Stayed 3 nights. We absolutely loved this hotel. All the small touches of hidden Mickey’s, comfy beds, just a wonderful stay. We were in the Fantasy Tower which is super convenient to the pools and downtown Disney. Monorail closed for refurbishment so had to walk from hotel to both parks, not a big deal to us. Granddaughter loved all the pools, so many lifeguards to watch the swimmers. Hotel staff amazing. We will return!

The e-ticket club lounge is being remodeled. The temporary replacement is a first floor conference room. If you have been to the previous lounge, like us, you will be disappointed with the replacement. If you are planning your stay, don't pay the premium for the club access, it is not worth it until they open the new lounge. Overall it's a good hotel with a great location. Unfortunately we were not informed of the lounge construction when we booked.

Sadly for our family not worth the cost if the Monorail is unavailable. When we booked we should have been told Monorail would be down for refurbishment. It is a 15 minute walk through downtown Disney to get to the park. We were in a suite in the Frontier Tower, the furthest away and very dated. Money better spent on nicer hotel with shuttle or Airbnb.

I liked how it was convenient for going to Disneyland.

Everything was great! It was great being able to stay in the Disney property. Service was great. We got there before check in and they were able to accommodate us sonner. Loved our stay.
