Riverside Hotel

Variety of eateries and room choices. Pool area small. Staff friendly and attentive. Original room book was not adequate - very very loud extractor fan. We did move but this needs to be looked at. In the tower block we moved to the air conditioning unit is placed so that it is directly over the bed causing stiff necks - but due to temperature, you needed to have air con on. there is a most annoying rim around the bed which sticks out and you often bump into it. The bedside lamps are not good, not adequate in placement or in lighting. Great to have a small refrigerator and the replenishment of water daily is a bonus. Small terrace/balcony is nice. Coffee machine is a nice touch - but unfortunately the coffee pods were not good at all, and produces very week coffee with no taste. Housekeeping is very very late in the day - sometimes not until 4pm or later.

Location is amazing. Multiple restaurants within walking distance and excellent night life. Excellent location for either the airport or port Everglades.

The Riverside Hotel was recommended by friends! What a great find! It is a great property with a wonderful location and atmosphere! Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

We've stayed at the Riverside a few times now and we always enjoy being here. The rooms are always clean and well kept. The location has so much to offer. There is a nice piano bar in the reception area and there is also a pub and restaurant. They also have a nice courtyard. There is just so much to do in this area on Los Olas blvd.

The grounds are beautiful! We stayed last year pre cruise and this year post cruise. Even though our ship deported from Miami we choose to comes to Fort Lauderdale just for this hotel. We only had a standard king, smallest of the rooms. The bathroom was pieced together, very dingy. No shower bar to hold on to for getting in and out of shower. Only one complimentary water in room. USB didn’t work on one side of room. Could plug blow dryer into desk plug but would not work after turning off and back on again. Huge gap in bottom and side of hotel door when closed! I do not recommend this hotel and always said good things about it on our cruise forums, that will stop. Embarrassing to say what we paid for this room

Staff was friendly and helpful. Boathouse restaurant was great for dinner. Great location.

Elevator was broken. Smells like weed in our hallway. No coffee shop or breakfast area in the hotel. Pool is across the street. Ubers had difficulty finding us as there are multiple pickup spots and no definitive pickup area when you put in the address.

Short trip for Husband's Birthday. LOVE Riverside Hotel and their 6 restaurants! Location right on the water for river taxi, otherside is on Los Olas so great for shopping etc. We had tickets to Hairspray the musical just a short 4 mintue Uber. All of the staff at Riverside were perfect, friendly and genuine.
