The Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia

Great location. Great parking garage. Front desk and house keeping were wonderful

Rooms were veered outdated. I had to switch rooms between stay. Bigger room was so hot, not the cleanest in terms of carpet and furniture ( couches). Needs a major upgrade. Beds were comfortable. No fridge in junior suite which was extremely inconvenient.

Staff is outstanding. Room smelled like too much carpet cleaner. The carpet smells very chemical. Room 529. Left windows open the entire stay and a/c on. Smell would wake me up and irritated my lungs. Alternate room offered smelled of bleach! Security guard smelled it before me. Bleach is a known carcinogen, but it is cheap. There are non toxic cleaners available to you that better hotels use so that your room is odor free. It’s unconscionable that you would have your staff using toxic carcinogenic products. I’m tired of hotels that smell bad. I shouldn’t have to pay $500+ per night to get a fresh smelling hotel room. Covid is not a pandemic anymore. You don’t need to be washing everything down with bleach and other stinky chemicals. The restaurant and bar were a great buy with good food. Again, your staff is well trained and just terrific. Keep it that way.

The location is great.

My reservation was lost, I had to wait 3-4h to get a room. The room smelled like mold and dust that just got worse over time. I got another room the next day which was a bit better. Staff were slow, and couldn't solve very basic issues - just kept saying "You're happy stay is so important for us" - but that won't help anybody :).

The rooms are very tired. In disrepair. Furniture beat up. Attention to detail is not good.

location and price large, roomy room

toiletries, cups, coffee for the machine, etc were not replaced. i had to ask and still did not get them replaced. I was not given bottled water, as I had been on prior stays.

The Warwick has a wonderful location but that is the extent of it. The rooms are EXTREMELY dated, with broken switch’s, shower fixtures, inoperable AC… it took 12 hours to get the toilet working! (can’t make that up). All in all, other than proximity to Rittenhouse Sqyare, don’t expect much

The staff were great but given it is a Marriott, my expectations were not met. The room was outdated, not freshly painted - stains, rust, old clearly worn furniture, multiple lights not functioning (bathroom and bedroom), caked dirt/dust on the power strip behind the bed, spider on the bed, etc. I did appreciate the valet parking and on site restaurants.

In the middle of the city with many stores to walk to and a great atmosphere
