The Westin Pittsburgh

Location, appearance, cleanliness, bed & pillows comfortable, and attentive staff, you can't go wrong.

We were able to check in as soon as we arrived ( 2 hours early ) with no problem at all. The staff gave us great options for travel from the hotel to our event.

Booked a king room on Expedia and when we arrived we were assigned two double beds. When we asked the customer service representative to correct the mistake, they stated that the Westin does not honor room choices made on Expedia. After several minutes they were able to find an available king room. They recommended booking directly with the hotel for future stays. Outside of this issue our stay was OK. Room was basic, nothing special. It could have been cleaner as there was hair in the bathroom and the sleeping area. Neighbors were quite noisy at 2am. Location was great, close to everything. Will look elsewhere before booking another room at the Westin.

There will no future stays for me my company and others I will deliberately influence to reserve elsewhere; very disappointing Thanksgiving vacation with family

I am staying at the Westin Pittsburgh downtown; very disappointed with the room configuration- no separation of quarters; no microwave; one TV on the wall away from the sofa seats and adjacent to the bed; bathroom is extremely small; brought my family for Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh; no pool for my granddaughter; no desk for doing any type of work or reading; over all poor setup and has spoiled my holiday; I will be leaving early; I reserved for 3 days but cannot stay here. I am a BONVoY member 678538976, a frequent traveler and will no longer stay at these facilities; I will share my disappointment so others are aware; why do I have to ask if a pool is available at a Westin? Dame I am so disappointed that my granddaughter cannot play in the pool; very disappointed customer

We had problems every day of our stay with our credit card and key card. Very annoying to constantly have to go to front desk.

Waiters at breakfast were very helpful and kind.

The room was loud! There were large vents outside and it was like sleeping on an airplane. The tv repeatedly signed me out of Netflix. The checkin staff were unhelpful. I had two bookings- one through booking.com which was cancelled well over a month before, and I had proof of cancellation. And another at conference rate. They refused the conference rate stating the booking.com reservation was not cancelled and forced me to use that reservation. When I spoke with them a second time and showed them proof of the cancellation, they still denied there was an issue in their end.
