Holland America Skagway Inn

Didn’t stay in the room much as wanted to explore Rooms on the small side but comfortable The 5$ black Coffey was a bit much even for holland America but you were handy to everything parking was ok not bad

There was a terrible clicking noise coming from the heating system and it kept me and my children up. Toilet was dirty when I got there. Overall pretty unpleasant stay. Only great thing was the staff they were very kind.

Our host, the front desk, was quite helpful. He searched until he found a restaurant that was open even though we arrived late. The room was in a historical building, complete with its own fireplace and footed bathtub. The only downside was no hot water or coffee in the room.

This is one of the worst places I've stayed at in a while. The lack of amenities was ludicrous: no WiFi in the room, no microwave and I had to request a fridge, no AC, no breakfast or complimentary snacks, non-HD TV with fuzzy reception and most ridiculous of all, a 10am checkout time. Can't remember ever encountering that before. You're way better off at the Morning Wood or the Historic Skagway Inn.

When we arrived we were told the dining room was closed as it was nearly the end of the season . No breakfast was therefore available although it states there is an onsite restaurant on the website . There was a private party on the Saturday evening which took over all the reception / lounge area on ground floor and upstairslounge area meaning there was no where that we could sit in the evening . No coffee available in lobby on day of our departure as they hadn’t made any as they were closing that day . We felt we were simply an inconvenience .

Great place to stay.

Decent hotel, room a smidge musty but ok after window open for a bit. Pretty thin walls, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper

It’s a great property but our room was in a very noisy area next to the stairwell and the laundry on the ground floor. In addition there was a room above us and really seemed like there were bears in there with all the running around. Having said that, we already had another 2 night stay booked in a week so I asked to be placed on the second floor.
