Holiday Inn Express St. Albans by IHG

Very friendly

There was no breakfast

How comfortable the beds were.

That our room was cleaned once in the 4 days we were there. Also ran out of shampoo on day 1, told the front desk, and it NEVER got replaced, had to buy my own!

Nice hotel.

Staff not friendly and location was not where I thought

Pan cake machine was not working

Everything about it was perfect continental breakfast was amazing

The only complain I had was on checkout day the housekeeper walking into our room on two different occasions without knocking and then knocking a third time and being told the exact same thing each time we will be done and out of here by check out time at 11:00 and not before please stop coming back when we address this at the front desk at checkout time three or four different people came to talk to us and thanked us for our input and that they would address the situation so we have absolutely no complaints and what a wonderful wonderful staff is operating this hotel

This hotel, when under La Quinta, was horrible, unsafe and exterior doors were not locked or secure, nor was the place very clean and sadly overpriced. I took a chance and tried this location again for this trip, to see family, since it is now a Holiday Inn Express. What a wonderful difference, every staff member was very professional and helpful, breakfast was an excellent variety, the reno of the entire building was no nice and they took security seriously. They honored my IHG membership and veteran status. I could not be more pleased with the new management and upgrades. Really enjoyed my stay.

It was such a pleasing change from the previous chain/ownership I can't think of anything I did not like this trip.
