I loved hearing the loons on the lake as I relaxed for the evening. This is a special place! I saw 6 deer as I wandered the beautiful scenic property! So happy to see that the indoor pool area was newly painted and repaired! The large pool is the perfect temperature to do a few lamps! Of course, the hot tub was great, too! the spacious rooms, comfy bed, and courteous bartender on floor 5 at "The Rafters" made for a delightful stay and I felt pampered!

Overall the hotel room we stayed in was decently priced for the age, area, and season for our room. The staff was friendly enough, but chose to favor my youngest over my older two, ignoring them when they spoke to her. The staff wasn't very knowledgeable, I asked how to get to the playground and the staff member didn't know how to get to it and had to ask another employee. The room was clean and a great size as well as the grounds to roam and play what I can only describe as a kids mini golf course. The main downfall of the room was the door lock to the patio was broken and didn't lock. And having 3 under 4 years old with a joint balcony and on an upper floor it was a huge safety hazard. Luckily we had a stick to put in it to stop them from opening it without our consent. I did bring it up to staff and they simply replied "okay". Which didn't make me feel it would be taken care of. But all in all, I would recommend it for an inexpensive family place to stay.

We were in town for a work conference. The location of the property was beautiful with it being right on the lake!

The beds were comfortable but a little too firm for my liking but that is just my preference.

The restaurant in the hotel was horrible. I felt sorry for the waitress because she was great but there is clearly a breakdown of communication with the cooks in the kitchen and this made her job extremely difficult.

Location is nice.

Not food. Food tasted like on old fryer. We booked for a birthday party. When we made reservation it didnt tell us that the waterpark was closed. My children and friends were very upset.
