Arrowwood Resort Hotel and Conference Center, Alexandria

The location of the property was great. The view from our balcony of the lake was beautiful.

The property seemed dated, the hallways were dark, and the walls are pretty thin. We could hear a baby crying in the room next to us all night. The beds are a little on the hard side, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the furnishings were old.

The beds were very comfy and the view was gorgeous.

The hot tub was gross and slimy, as was the pool. They have a huge ant problem downstairs. The water park was closed for renovations, and I was not notified prior to my booking, so I had to drive an hour and 49 minutes away to go to a separate one. The ice machine upstairs doesn't work. I will update this when the water park is back open.

What happened! Absolutely horrible dirty resort. We use to love visiting Arrowwood resort now nothing but a filthy dump!

Upgrades are necessary. I understand it is happening. Restaurant needs a staff that can get an order correct and pricing was $$$

The family room had enough places for all 5 of us to sleep comfortably.

We stayed there because of the indoor tennis courts, however, we were not able to use them because every Monday night they rent it out to a local tennis league and Tuesday evening it was set up for a banquet. No one told us this when we called ahead of our stay or during our stay. Very disappointing for all of us.
