Omni Charlotte Hotel

My husband and I did a weekend getaway for our anniversary to Charlotte, North Carolina. The service was fantastic and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They even upgraded us to the club level for our anniversary. Location is in the heart of downtown so you’re near everything! Thank you, Omni for helping us to have a wonderful and memorable anniversary.

I was overcharged and the rooms are not updated

This Hotel was located very easy to get to from airport and centrally located in the city. The rooms were very nice and clean.

Nice hotel, lady at lever 14 was very friendly! Only thing bad was Pool was closed, other than that nice location around a lot of stuff!

I’m very disappointed about the experience with this hotel. I was going at the hotel at 4 am in the morning and I made sure to book an extra day and I was fine to be charged, but when I was it took 15 min for a simple check in and when I went at the room I need to find out that the room was wet and they have a big giant thing to dry it but the smell was strong. I need to go again downstairs and I need to deal with the attitude from the front desk which the moment i arrive she has maybe a bad day but still. I got photo so i can prove it and i got to a different room which is not what i purchased for but didn’t have time to deal again so i just stayed bc i didn’t have the nerve to deal again. So overall 45 min for a check in with attitude. Is like they don’t want you to be there. Now I will question myself before booking again with this hotel bc I DONT think I will do it again. I didn’t mention that i booked others room for my guests and they have similar experience they need to deal with attitude bc they fine them different rooms and they said but the reservation is this kind of room.

I stayed at the Omni Charlotte from 5/21–5/23 and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I booked this hotel over a month in advance specifically because I wanted a relaxing getaway where I could enjoy the pool and Coin Bar. I made my reservation on 4/16, but wasn’t notified until 5/20 — literally the day before my trip — that the pool would be closed for repairs. Had I known sooner, I honestly would have booked elsewhere. Because of this, I ended up spending extra money on Ubers and even had to purchase a resort pass at another hotel just to enjoy a pool during my vacation. That completely defeated the purpose of choosing this property in the first place. The hotel did upgrade my room, which I appreciated, but as a solo traveler the upgrade didn’t really make up for the inconvenience or disappointment. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency and the extremely late notice regarding a major amenity closure. Overall, the stay felt frustrating and very underwhelming compared to what I expected from Omni.

The king size room was nearly impeccable, save for the view of an HVAC unit on the roof of an adjacent building. The location and service were absolutely stellar. But the buffet was a joke. Who organizes a breakfast buffet without toast? The carton scrambled eggs were disappointing for what this hotel strives to be.

We went to Charlotte for my brother’s surprise birthday party! Everything was perfect!! The location of the hotel is very convenient to restaurants, shops, and sight seeing!! We will definitely be back!! The staff was phenomenal!
