Omni Charlotte Hotel

Location was great. Atmosphere was kind of lame. Bar was meh and we were super bummed to learn the pool and bar were closed even though it was high 80s all weekend. We were looking forward to sitting by the pool on our weekend vacation but no such luck. Room was clean, didnt really feel "upscale" for downtown and more like a regular hotel. The vibe of the hotel was boring. Staff (especially valet) were friendly. Front desk staff were ok, but not overly welcoming. We got a great rate due to military, but probably wont return to this location.

Excellent experience! Had one issue but it was rectified immediately by Clarissa the manager. Clarissa even followed up multiple times to ensure I was satisfied. Lucy at the front desk is a ball of positivity. No matter your mood her mood will alter yours to good or even better. If I could I’d give them both a raise for their above and beyond level of customer service. Hopefully corporate reads this so they can give those two a raise cause they are retaining customers ensuring we come back. The pool was closed but Jackie at the bar will still make your vacation drinks to perfection. I look forward to another getaway in Charlotte staying at the Omni downtown.

We booked this specific hotel because of the pool. Found out the day before the pool was closed. They did compensate us by allowing us access to the club level. Gabby was an absolute gem. She made the stay. I also ordered room service and the food was amazing. The beet salad was perfect. Lots of beets and the lettuce was very crisp. Even the next day. It had a unique curry dressing. I also got the chicken and dumplings. It had a Cajun flare and was honestly devine. I will be craving that dish for sure. The hotel is in great walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

The heart of Charlotte, close to many restaurants, business district with plenty of sights to see.

The rooms are very old and run down. My ac was very poor and the shower and bathroom were awful.

The staff were were helpful and patient. The room was clean and the location allowed us to see various areas around the city. We were also walking distance from a few great restaurants.

The experience at the Omni Charlotte was very good. The hotel itself is a little dated, but the exceptional customer service more than makes up for it. I have stayed in many establishments, and I can confidently say that this facility has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Every employee my sister and I encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in how they could be of service. I would like to highlight a few team members who made our stay outstanding: Joe and Clarrise were absolutely amazing. Additional staff who deserve recognition include Ja’Sean, Javonna, Tsega, and Celesty. Their kindness and professionalism truly elevated our stay.

Everything was very clean, hallways and elevators were clean and up to date. Bedroom was immaculate and the location was great!
