The Portswood Hotel

Lovely staff, very convenient location, rooms are compact but functional if you’re staying in your own.

I was staying in a room on the first floor at the front of the property and that was quite noisy with all the cards and your bussed arriving and leaving. Better to sleep at the back of the hotel.

Great hotel. Conveniently located next to the V&A waterfront. Nice, well maintained room and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Beakfast was very good and elaborate and the location is superb, right at the Waterfront.

The location of this hotel was amazing. Quick backstreet walk to all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed massages, working out at the gym and day trips to see this beautiful area. There are many choices of restaurants nearby. The staff was so friendly and we loved the service at this hotel!!

Rooms outdated needs a refurbishment Wouldn't say value for money but Value for Service breakfast team is spectacular the chef that sings is so out of this world , bongi from housekeeping was very helpful, Paige ! very cheerful made the stay exciting every morning when we left the hotel and always had interesting conversation with a positive atmosphere Michael was helpful and always showing us direction , I missed one name but she stands at reception wears glasses with blonde hair always says good morning in a special way Location is great very close to the waterfront hotel just needs TLC
