DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Arlington Heights

It was a good stay, unfortunately I think because the lights are so bright it brought in a lot of mosquitoes so myself and my family were swatting away mosquitoes in the lobby as we sat to talk, in all fairness is not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but it was probably the type of lightbulb that drew them because they were very bright at night.

Property furniture just looked a little old

The worst service I have ever received at a hotel I only stayed there because I had an early flight and they had a shuttle which I couldn’t use to get to my flight and then upon returning I was told I would need to wait an hour and a half to get a return shuttle. The hotel was in about the same state of a motel six. This hotel should not be called a double tree it should be called a super 8.

Staff is not Friendly

The hotel was at google location.

Staff was very rude. I didn't like the gesture at the front desk. The cleaning staff was told twice to clean the room within their timings because they missed it the first time. I was also not happy as I had like 4 bags and there was no help to assist me up to my room but I can live with that. When i asked the receptionist to guide me as to where is the lift, she just said just walk straight and you will find it and I kept walking straight and missed the lift towards the right until i reached the end and then i came back and looked for it. All this with 4 bags. I was also not told there are extra parkings behind the building as well. These are all courteous gestures that sets one apart from another.

Very enjoyable stay

Rooms 3 star: rooms were clean but carpet and furniture could use an update. My view 1 star for a rusty roof view. Fridge was smaller compared to the other rooms booked in my party. Having a microwave would have made it so much more convenient. Staffing was most excellent from front desk to room service. Thank you for our stay

Very clean

Stayed the night after our cross country flight. We were greeted by Martin when checking in. Using the Hilton App made our check in a breeze. Martin was very friendly and showed us which exterior door is close to our room so we could park and unload our car with ease. Thank you Martin for all your help. The room was very sound proof. We were close to the elevator and didn't hear any exterior noise. Bed was very comfy as the room was very roomy. We spent the night and woke up refreshed for another day of travel.
