Hyatt Regency Orange County

I had gotten spoiled at the last three times I have stayed at a Hyatt Regency that I would receive an email from the hotel before my stay asking if I needed anything or had a special occasion. I hadn't received anything and I was disappointed going into the trip since it was my birthday weekend and I wanted to upgrade my room. The number I called to get to the hotel just got stuck up in Hyatt phone system even with two calls. I gave up and just went with it to see where it would lead. I checked in at 2 with an early arrival and starting with James at Valet, I was met with positivity and smiles. My wife is blind so I require a little assistance and the valet was on it. I went to check in and was met immediately by Shawna, who was amazing, greeted me as a Globalist and asked if I needed anything. I explained that I was looking for a two bedroom suite and she was able to find me one, but explained I would have to wait. She went through all the amenities I had coming and offered a glass of champagne. The hotel entry is breathtaking and my wife and I just decided to sit it out and wait. Shawna said she would get back to me as soon as the room was clean. After about an hour she found my wife and I, got our bags from valet and had them take them up to the room. The room was perfect. Two separate bedrooms, one with a king and the other with two queens. I had my adult daughters with me so it worked out great. Living room in the middle and two separate bathrooms. Breakfast each morning was great, we ordered off the menu as well as the Buffett. neither disappointed. The bar in the middle of the hotel was great and the gym was more than adequate but the best part was the outside area. A complete concrete park with pickleball court, basketball, ping pong, shuffle board and corn hole. What else could you ask for? All in all we had a great time, hit the Angels game just down the street and enjoyed our time there.

Just come back from my 2nd stay here. After an awful flight (Our flight got turned around back to London when we were half way there!) And then having to fly indirect, I was so happy to arrive at the hotel. Check in was quiet, so we were checked in super quick. We were on the 11th floor. There were 2 queen beds, which were super comfy. The bathroom is the only thing that lets the hotel down. The shower is far too low if you are over 6ft. My husband kept banging his head on the shower head! We used the shuttle to Disney most days. The queue was super big at 7am. So we just jumped in an Lyft. But the shuttle was fine all other times. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel is very well for family tour to the Disney CA. The shuttle bus can arrive Disney CA directly from the lobby of the Hotel with 11$/man.

The booking revervation inlude all fees and do not need to pay additional fee anymore. The front desk please verify the payment clearly when tourist check in.

Value & proximity to Disneyland.

There was no bathroom exhaust fan.

Ease of checking in, room with a outward facing view va inward and away from elevators.

No valet available late in the evening. No late checkout and stains in carpet/towels.

Decent place. The rooms were good, toilets clean. The only nitpick would be the pool, which was on the smaller size considering the huge hotel. Staff were friendly.
