Americourt Hotel

To start with I just want to say, the staff we were working with were great. We checked in a little before 3, however, Our room wasn't ready, the cleaning cart was outside with no one in our room, 3:45 still the same, cleaning cart, no person. Later, the clerk offered us another room, I had book 2 queen beds, but she gave us 2 doubles. The non-smoking room reeked of stale smoke and the floor and curtains had cigarette burns. The beds were clean but uncomfortable. 2 larger adults in a double bed. Charged same price for that room as what we booked. I was very disappointed but grateful we were only staying one night.

Smelled of cigarettes really bad. Had two beds. One bed sheets were very nasty. Not worth the price. It's the only one in area is why we stayed. The upstairs is apartments. Heard two dogs barking at 6 am.

This is the worst place I ever seen in my life. It’s really scary I would never expect this area to have such a terrible filthy dirty place. Rooms are horrible, dirty walls and floors. Stay away from it, this place should be shutdown permanently.

The rooms are terrible. They need to be updated. The beds were worn out, the curtains were old and didn't close properly The dining table in the room was tagged and the carpet was nasty. The front desk lady was very nice!

We always stay here, because it's always super clean and a good value. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Parking is great. However, the rooms are in need of updating.

Dirty stunk of Marijuana, dirty sheets, live and dead roaches.

Ok.. There are two hotels in this town, and this is actually the better of the two. That’s the only reason it’s getting three stars. Stayed for a week 1st… The smell? I can’t describe it, it’s everywhere, hallways and rooms. Part of the smell is urine, can smell that in the hallways. But the rest is a mystery. 2nd… Was told at check-in there is no maid service, if I needed clean towels, sheets or some TP, I would have to go the the front desk and get it myself. Then make my own bed. 3rd… The web site said “free hot breakfast” Only thing they had was hot coffee and it was nasty, could probably peel paint off the walls. Maybe that’s where the smell was coming from? Probably the only good thing I could say about this place.. no bed bugs.. pest control could also contribute to that smell? If you are coming to Elizabethton and are staying more than one night I strongly suggest you stay in Johnson City.
