It was old and musty and was damp and a lot of condensation which means some of our items got wet.

The hotel is very outdated and the room had a musty smell. The bathroom seemed very clean and also the bedding. Pictures show that they have a pool and continental breakfast but the pool had no water and they do not serve breakfast due to Covid.

There was nothing good about our stay at this location. Broken sofa, which was also a sofa sleeper. Had a non smoking room but hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Walls paper thin and heard noises all hours of the night. When checking in, clerk stated she would give us the best room available. Was in complete shock when opening the door to see a broken sofa, holes in the wall and hearing TVs from other rooms. Had to ask for more towels. Only decent thing was the fact it was on the very end of the building so we did not have to walk the hallway with such bad odors of smoke. Would not recommend to anyone.

This was a very spacious hotel. It was clean, but looked like it needed to be updated in a few areas. Was very conveniently located for my needs. Would stay again if I were to come back to that area of town.

"Absolutely do NOT stay here!!! "

This was the most disgusting, dirty, mildew/moldy hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dark and dingy, the walls were peeling. The dirty carpet was a constant dampness and had to keep telling the kids to keep their shoes on ALL the time. Roach was crawling around on the dresser and spiders on window and ceiling. I was not told there would be no housekeeping the 4 nights we were there, had to constantly ask for towels. The room was “non-smoking but clearly the entire hotel is smoked in and that’s all you smell when you walk in the front door to check in. While visiting family in Elizabethton I suggest you stay in Johnson City as this place will literally make you sick. We were coughing all night and had major headaches in the morning. I have never, and I traveled the country multiple times, stayed anywhere so awful as this place.

"Not for the hotel snob"

8.0

This was just an ideal place for the night in town. The hotel is an older property and could use some refurbishing on the room since mold was on the ceiling and a faint smell of cigarette smoke lined throughout the night. It was a safe spot, not bother from anyone off the main state road in town.

"Be aware! You get less than what you pay for"

4.0

This hotel should have cost considerably less since it was so run down and unclean. Since our accommodation options were very limited, we chose to deal with it. We were told the rooms were non- smoking, but it was obvious a lot of people were actively smoking in many rooms. Our room was so humid, even with the AC running full blast the entire stay, the beds felt moist. It smelled dank and as if some previous pets had used the carpet as their bathroom.

Very dark and dirty. I’m not sure if something was growing on the ceiling, or if it was bugs. Visible dirt and cobwebs throughout — vent covers, shower curtain — dirty and had someone else’s hair, cobwebs around window, spiders — large. There were broken parts laying outside the window. We aren’t sure what they were for - security? The bed was in awful shape. When sat upon, it went noisily down — something broken. The lobby area needs attention. The pond should just be taken out. It is not at all attractive. Someone just put the pond item in there and didn’t finish it off. It looks awful. The clerk insisted on taking a credit card for a $50 charge that would be removed later — on checkout, an inspection would be done to determine whether we could have the $50 back. No inspection was done at that time. At that time, they said it would be done when the housekeeping staff went in. We shouldn’t have given the credit card info — should have given cash and insisted on it being returned. There are so many things we could be blamed for in that room! We were not told in advance, but found out that housekeeping doesn’t even come to change towels or empty trash, unless you request this. We talked to the housekeeping staff in the hall. The woman told us she would bring us towels when they came out of the dryer. Hours later - no towels. I had to go to the front desk and ask. She couldn’t find any towels in the laundry room. She did go into another room for new towels.
