DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown

Filthy. Outdated. Rooms look like hourly rental rooms. No refrigerators in rooms. Understaffed front desk and coffee shop. Pool was closed. So gross. Stuck here for a volleyball tournament. I need to get home and detox. Hilton should be embarrassed by this property.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything you may need. Excellent customer service. Mackenzie was very hospitable from the first time I spoke with her on the phone to arrange pickup from the airport through checkin. She took good care of us

Mackenzie at the front desk was amazing, she is kind knowledgeable and very helpful, she made me feel welcomed and very comfortable after a long day of work. The room was very spacious and very clean and so comfortable. 5 stars For the double tree and 100 stars for Mackenzie.

The staff made this stay very worthwhile. Michelle at the front desk was very communicative and helpful. Dennis and Mark operated the shuttle so efficiently and made the ride enjoyable with their stories and knowledge of the area, their pride shown through. Domingo in housekeeping was awesome.

This Hotel is conveniently located in Downtown Omaha within walking distance to food and bars..Ive stayed here many times for business and MacKenzie at the front desk is AMAZING every single time...I always look forward to staying at this hotel and receiving MacKenzies warm welcoming smile and greeting....

Very pleasant, friendly, short and sweet the fastest check-in after a long day of flying around the country with me and crew members +2 mechanics got to the front desk room keys were ready. We signed in leave our member numbers and we were done. thank you.

The staff were amazing. Mackenzie & Michelle(?) at the front desk, Dennis the shuttle driver, the ladies who worked the breakfast buffet, & the bartender/server at the bar/grill were all very friendly & provided excellent customer service. The only qualms we had were with the condition of our room & the establishment overall. Considering the Hilton/Doubletree reputation, we were surprised by the condition of our room. There is a definite need for this property to be renovated. In our room, the wall had wallpaper paste all over it. The carpet was frayed at the entry way to the room. In the bathroom, the grout in the shower was black & the exhaust fan was half hanging out of the ceiling. The shower was difficult to use & the water only came out very hot. The dresser in our room had a lot of scratches & a chunk missing out of it & one of the bedside lamps had a lot of chips in it. We were also disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Considering the price ($18 per person), the selection wasn't spectacular & most of the food that was supposed to be hot was barely warm or even cold. Given the price per night along with the additional charges of parking, breakfast, etc. we were just disappointed. There isn't an enclosed walkway from the parking garage to the hotel, which in the winter is a bummer. I don't think we will stay at this location again because of the cost & condition. We've stayed at hotels (even motels) that have cost less per night & were much better quality.
