DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown

We brought our dog and loved that there was a little park across the street for walks. There is a $75 non-refundable pet fee-FYI & self-parking costs $15. The convenience of having a Starbucks, a restaurant, and in room dining options was great, but the rooms themselves are run down. The sink only had warm/hot water, there was a stain on the carpet, the tub faucet sprayed when you ran the shower, and in one of our two rooms, the toilet did not flush properly.

Not good service at front desk. Called me at 11pm to talk about a $6 charge and said I had to come down now to front desk, even though I had given my charge card when I checked in , a nd was told they would keep a $50 open charge for any incidentals. Also got a call at 10:45 pm from front desk that was a mistake. When I called for room service I was told there is no room service today. I went down to front desk and asked why, and was told, of course we have room service today. So I think that was front desk manager and she got me room service. I would not stay there again. Very disappointed in a Hilton property. Absolutely no amenities in room, not even a clock, but there was soap and shampoo.

I stayed at the Double Tree for 5 days and was disappointed at the quality of the hotel. While the staff were all welcoming and helpful, the hotel itself is looking dated with wood paneled elevators and dark hallways. The parking is convenient and easy to use, shared with other businesses (didn't enjoy stepping over dried vomit at the base of the stairs to get to my car everyday). Close to the airport and downtown Omaha. And although the facility needs updating, the room and bathroom were clean and maintained. Overall, nothing great, nothing terrible, just not the quality I expect out of a Double Tree.

I was scammed by a middleman—the room I originally booked for May 2nd was canceled, and he instead booked one at a DoubleTree dozens of miles away. As a result, I had nowhere to stay tonight and had to wait until May 3rd to check into the DoubleTree I actually booked. When I went to the front desk for help, the staff were extremely responsible and provided tremendous assistance. They allowed me to rest in the lobby and even proactively offered to arrange an early check-in for me tomorrow. I was deeply moved. At that moment, I knew I made the right choice with DoubleTree. I love Omaha, and I love DoubleTree!

The food and staff in Downtown Omaha were fantastic. We were there for a conference and they were very attentive to our needs. Adjusted when we asked. Were quick to help whenever we needed something. Bed was comfortable! Room was clean. Shower was awesome!

Like many of the other reviews, the property is due for an update and is understaffed. Melissa's kindness and service truly made my stay and travels easier. She was accommodating with my needs and took great care of me. The reuben sandwich at the bar was delicious but the rest of the food isn't worth eating.

The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful!

Coming from colorado I didn't realize I book room right into downtown, parking was limited. Overall it was good.

staff was very nice and everything was clean but the elevators stopped working so i had to walk down 11 flights of stairs or wait a very long time for the elevator plus the elevator got stuck so i woke up twice from alarms going off which was not pleasant

-No cold water in the bathroom, only very hot water -Room looked and smelled old -Was not offered a cookie at check in
