Park Central South Beach

I have stayed in another property for a few years and due to a last minute situation I had to find replacement accommodations. I needed a direct ocean view with limited choices I was fortunate enough to find the Park Central. This will now be my go to stay in South Beach. Amazing location and great property with multiple buildings, four restaurants, two pools and a great staff. People make all the difference and I can't say enough good about Sena, one of the managers. From my arrival to departure, Sena was always there and eager to provide any special requests or needs I had.

100% stayed for the view.

The room was dirty when we checked in; there were no towels, and the bathroom and floor were dirty ( still had hair and a contact in the sink) This was more than one time. The next day, housekeeping left us two hand towels, and that was it. Waking up at 5 am, vacuuming, losing power for 8 hours, and so on, the 10k room you're paying for is only for the view. Night shift front desk are the best staff we could ever ask for.

Läget är mycket bra. Fantastisk utsikt fårn rummet över Ocean Drive och South Beach. Det rummet som fanns där man kunde duscha och göra sig i ordning inför flygresan efter en dag på stranden på utcheckningsdagen var mycket bra. Strandstolarna var mycket bra. Strandhanddukarna var dock rejält små men det kompenserades med att man fick flera istället.

Rejält överprisat. Nu valde vi hotellet efter läge och jag förstår att läget gör att priset blir högre. Jag har inga problem med att betala $500-600 USD per natt om kvaliteten matchar men läget är inte tillräckligt för att det ska vara värt det. Hotellet har låg standard. När man betalar dom priserna ska man inte behöva säga till om att det är helt stopp i avloppet i duschen, att lampan i rummet blinkar, att det bara finns en badrock på rummet, att städerskan inte ens spolat i toaletten (vi hade inte spolat bara för att testa) och golvet var inte rent. Ena dagen hade städerskan tagit våra använda handdukar som hängde på tork och vikt ihop dom och lagt dom på hyllan så dom var fortfarande fuktiga dagen efter. När dom hade fixat avloppet i duschen (efter att vi sagt till) var det blodfläckar på badrumsmattan. Dörrarna till rummet var lika tunna som badrumsdörren och glipade rejält så det lyste in från hallen samt att varenda person som andades i korridoren hördes in, dörrarna i närliggande rum gnisslade så det störde in till oss. Hissen fungerade knappt så man trodde man skulle fastna varje gång man åkte för dörren gick knappt upp. Hotellfoajen var iskall så där gick det inte att vara i baren och vid polen var drinkarna överprissatta och serverades i mjuka engångsplastglas så där var det inte heller kul att vara. När vi var där var det dessutom några som hade festat rejält så det var spya på damtoaletten. Alla gånger vi använde toaletterna vid polerna saknades det tvål och vid ett av tillfällena var det inte påfyllt med handdukar. Roof top poolen hade typ 6 sängar/platser men på fotona är det kanske 12, Vid två av tre hotellfrukostar (ingick inte) som vi åt där blev något fel och fick åtgärdas. Samma sak var vid lunchen första dagen, då blev det också fel i beställningarna. Jag är så less på den här trenden är man tar överpriser i tron att man vill vara ett fint hotell men sedan missar att leverera kapitalt. Kommer inte komma tillbaka.

Great location, wonderful view from the room and balcony. Room and bathroom size. The bed was good and we had a good sleep. The pool area was nice and the staff in general was very helpful and kind. The hotel had three restaurants connected to the hotel. All of them was good.

i stayed 2 nights from February 6-8 . it has a great location at the heart of south beach . staff nice however not helpful . our room was very cold and the Ac was keep running . i went to call however the phone was not working . had to go down ask for a heater, they did not fixed the phone during our entire stay even though that i complain multiple times . the iron in our room was not working so again we had to go down ask for a new one so we could iron our clothes. The shower in our room was horrible either very hot or cold and water pressure was almost non existent. the card reader for our room was broken .the room was not dirty however it was not clean either. i can honestly say this was one of the worst hotel that i have stay on. so beware if you booked this hotel.

Older place located near the entertainment walk on ocean drive. Caught off guard with 1st drink order at $37. Location sweet!

The location is very good. The hotel is close to the beach, many restaurants, shops, and transportation services.

When we checked in, we were told that this hotel has 3 or 4 buildings and our room is in the oldest one. We didn’t understand why we were placed there, considering that at the time of check-in there were even available rooms in the other buildings listed on Booking.com, which were at lower prices. The room was extremely small – the entrance door was just inches from the bed, and the bathroom door situation was similar. All we could see from the window were bars and a concrete wall of the neighboring building, which was less than a meter away. It was impossible to tell whether it was day or night in the room due to the lack of light. The air conditioning was incredibly loud and blew directly onto one of the beds, meaning it couldn't be used while we were in the room. We asked to be moved to another, normal room considering that we paid a substantial amount not for a cell with bars, but for a hotel room. The response from the reception was that since we made our reservation through Booking.com, they couldn't change it, but if we paid extra, they could accommodate us in another, renovated building. It is inappropriate that these details regarding the multiple buildings are not shared when making the reservation, as the conditions can ruin the entire experience for tourists in the city. The photos on Booking.com do not reflect the reality of these rooms at all.
