Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

We stayed here for a conference over a long weekend. All of the hotel staff were great, especially Joelle at the front desk Di in the W lounge, and the servers in the restaurant and bar. The W lounge was excellent and the breakfast buffet in the lobby was very good. I also appreciated the Starbucks on property. However, the vegetarian food at the conference’s luncheon and the formal dinner was not very good. The dinner entree was a cauliflower steak that was tasteless and too hard to even cut with the steak knife. That was disappointing, especially for the price we paid for the food. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom does not have a ceiling fan and I was not a fan of the sliding doors on the bathroom entrance. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Everything was great except no one cleaned our room or gave us towels. our hairblow dryer was broken and we had to go get towels and ask for a new one. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at a Marriot and no one has cleaned our room.

The staff at the Marriott Overland Park was amazing for the conference at the hotel and my 3 night stay there. Every person I encountered was very pleasant, kind and helpful. It was refreshing to have such good customer service. Thank you!

This Marriott has one of the best open lobbies around. It even opens up to a bar, eating space and Starbucks. Very easy to maneuver and meet your clients for one on one meetings or a happy hour beverage.

I arrived at the hotel at 1:30am for the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council Symposium. The front desk person was very professional and congenial. The check in process was quick too. The room was spacious, clean, and had a modern chic feel to it. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants.

Lovely experience, as usual for this Marriott. The beds are so comfortable that you practically melt into them. The staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. Everything was very clean, smelled nice, and we like the amenities provided. All common areas were busy, but not overly noisy. They were also very clean for as busy as it was. Overall, this is our first choice for a hotel any time we’re in the area.

Nice room, nothing special, Charged $15 parking per night at checkout for outdoor flat lot with no attendant (??). No hot tub, outdoor.pool closed and indoor pool was cold. Overall, nice Marriott room, will stay elsewhere next trip. Plenty of other options around and location was good for dining options.

Everything was great except that the air conditioner makes a lot of noise. I didn't like it.

This was a nice place to stay. I didn't like how you had to pay for parking each day of your stay. The gate was open the whole time we were there. We totally could have parked for free.

I gave it a 3 because I had a good time and rooms are great but their front desk people lack customer service compared to the other Hiltons or any other Hotels I honestly been to.
