Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

Stayed for onsite conference. Plenty of modern work space in lobby and rooms well appointed with comfortable bed. Professional staff. Quick room service. Food was excellent including conference meals. Full service Starbucks in lobby popular. Would stay again and recommend.

Nice hotel with a serious fruit fly problem...breakfast would be a lot better with real eggs and bacon and not so many fruit flies!

Room was very comfortable with excellent bed and pillows. I have some vision issues and found the thermostat easy to read. That’s a big plus for me. The M lounge had snacks. (could’ve been a better selection.), sodas and water. Having a Starbucks in the hotel is handy. The interactions I had with the staff were very good. The gentleman at the front desk with the excellent beard was really helpful. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were all pleasant, and I got their names Maria,Yesenia and Sumit. They constantly had a smile on their face and were eager to please. When in this part of the country, this is my go to hotel.

The Marriott Kansas City Overland Park was a standard suburban full-service Marriott. The front desk staff I interacted with ranged from pleasant to very personable. The room was clean, comfortable and functional but nondescript in terms of decor. The gym was particularly well-appointed. The M Club blew me away in terms of the variety and quality of the food offerings. The rainbow-buffet of the freshest fruit ever at breakfast was the best!!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Room was beautiful as was the view. Restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Loved that Starbucks was just downstairs.

We stayed here for a conference over a long weekend. All of the hotel staff were great, especially Joelle at the front desk Di in the W lounge, and the servers in the restaurant and bar. The W lounge was excellent and the breakfast buffet in the lobby was very good. I also appreciated the Starbucks on property. However, the vegetarian food at the conference’s luncheon and the formal dinner was not very good. The dinner entree was a cauliflower steak that was tasteless and too hard to even cut with the steak knife. That was disappointing, especially for the price we paid for the food. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom does not have a ceiling fan and I was not a fan of the sliding doors on the bathroom entrance. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Everything was great except no one cleaned our room or gave us towels. our hairblow dryer was broken and we had to go get towels and ask for a new one. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at a Marriot and no one has cleaned our room.

The staff at the Marriott Overland Park was amazing for the conference at the hotel and my 3 night stay there. Every person I encountered was very pleasant, kind and helpful. It was refreshing to have such good customer service. Thank you!
