Marriott Kansas City Overland Park

The only issue I had is I thought the corridors were poorly lit especially at the door to the room recessed areas. I just remember mentioning it every time I entered the corridors off the Elevator lobby (well lit).

The atmosphere was beautiful - all the Christmas decorations were lovely. The food was delicious. I attended the Kansas Citians Christmas Luncheon.

Beautiful property. We were there as a team with nebraska premier volleyball. The entire inside of the hotel was beautiful and very clean

As always a great stay. However, our heater cycled way too often and was very loud.. We were on the top floor so perhaps it isn't insulated as well as it should be. The room did stay comfortable, but noisy. We will be back, just may stay on a lower floor.

We had the most lovely family experience at the Marriott in Overland Park after a not so good experience elsewhere. I called that morning and they gladly made reservations for room for me. Close to each other and very nice large rooms. The bar was wonderful and so accommodating and we had four of our children and their families meet us there for the evening. Alem in the M Lounge was so nice to the kids. The front desk was so helpful especially knowing we had left another location. We were welcomed at the Overland Park Marriott.

The hotel was very nice. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had dinner at the bar/restaurant and the food was excellent. Much better than most hotel restaurants.

Everything was great except for check-in. The person that checked me in was very rude and condescending. She gave me a room that, when I got to it, had a “do not disturb” door hanger. Based on how the attendant was when I checked in, I knew she’d question it so I took a picture of it with my phone. Good thing because the rudeness continued. She even asked if I tried the door even though it had the DND door hanger. Ummmm no. She finally ended up checking me into another room after much unnecessary back and forth. Outside of that, everything was great. Enjoyed the bar staff and the Starbucks is super convenient and quick! I’ll stay here again and just hope I don’t get the same check in person!

The mattresses and linens at this hotel are excellent, so comfortable! I unfortunately was stuck in a room right by the ice machine room and elevator corridor so the noise was bad and prevalent. It was a Monday too and the parking lot was mostly empty so I’m confident I could have gotten a room in a much better location, but I didn’t ask and certainly will next time.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and good bathroom lighting. Restaurant has reasonable prices and good dining options. Starbucks on-site is good and efficient. Only issue I had during my stay is the hotel tv app displayed a different guests name. I reported it twice. It concerned me because I thought maybe I was in someone else’s room.

The location was very convenient for a weeklong workshop I was attending at Oracle Health Innovations campus. The room was spacious, but the walls seemed a little thin - I could hear the chair scraping on the floor in my neighbors room. The room and the common areas were clean and accessible all week, the service in both my room as well as the restaurant downstairs was excellent. Easy and accessible free parking was a bonus.
