The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at The Living Room Restaurant with my sister Taleen, who is currently an intern there. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn’t just another restaurant visit it was a warm, welcoming experience that made me feel right at home. The service team was absolutely wonderful. They didn’t miss a single detail and made sure everything was taken care of with a smile. The food came out quickly, fresh, and piping hot, we barely had to wait! Every dish tasted amazing, clearly crafted with care and attention. A special shout-out to the bartender, who prepared a delicious virgin pina colada for us when he found out we don’t drink alcohol. It was thoughtful touches like this that really made the difference. What touched me most was seeing how the service and kitchen team treated Taleen not just as a colleague, but as family. That sense of closeness and care extended to us as well, and I left with a full heart and a happy stomach. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and retirement. From welcoming to the room decorations to the celebration in the restaurants the staff were very thoughtful. Everything was amazing! The concierge and the front desk staff were super helpful in helping us with our daily arrangements. One of the concierge, Matteus and a front desk staff, Nassim went out the way to arrange a special cake and a thoughtful gift for me. The stay was very memorable.

The ritz hotel is so beautiful. I loved it’s aesthetics, the room and view were amazing, the hotel’s staff were very kind, and i especially loved the piano and the classical music being played at the background. The spa was also amazing. Outstanding experience, a true luxurious hotel.

Not what I expected of a Ritz. The property is more like a Marriott in quality but you pay four seasons prices. We left after one night of a 2 night stay and went one block away to the four seasons. Whole different class and experience. The facilities, service, experience. Wow. Day and night. This hotel does not give you the 5 star experience you pay for.

What an amazing property. So old and historic with a great modern comfortable room. The concierge Matteus Oliveria was spot on with EVERY recommendation. We had the best trip in part due to all the wonderful suggestions from Matteus. The Living Room bar/ restaurant was also a pleasant surprise with the risotto made table side!
