Not enough luggage carriers at check in It was a very busy weekend though

I don’t like the $10 dollar parking fee. Add it to the price of the room. Vegas charges resort fees and people don’t like that.It’s not the money it’s the point that you’re charged for something that should be free. Money grabbing

I loved my first stay here in March for a work trip. But...in June...I didn't expect to be ROOMLESS. When I arrived at my hotel in June, they said I had already checked into my hotel. I let them know this was odd, since my name changed, therefore my reservation doesn't show in the app like in March (booked thru 3rd party). Super strange because I got a text earlier that day around 5pm asking me how was stay was...and I responded that I would actually arrive later that night. I went up to the room and the door was cracked open with a bag in front of it. My coworker was with me, and we decided to push it all the way open. We found the beds un-made, Mcdonalds trash by the bed, the TV on (with MY name displayed) and the bathroom lights on and door open. We immediately went downstairs. They had 0 rooms left!!! The nice man at the front counter went upstairs and couldn't find the person occupying my room and said the room was trashed. Unfortunately, all hotels were booked in the area, and I was HOTEL-LESS. The next day, my boss called to ensure I had a room. The hotel offered no explanation. When I went up to the counter to check into my new room, they asked if my DOB was xx/xx/1972. Someone had checked in my room with the wrong DOB. They confirmed they don't get DOB unless they input it. They don't ask for ID if you already check in too. So, someone checked into my room with their ID and someone made a mistake (unlikely since that would mean they were overbooked)...or someone working there had a party in my room (much more likely). Extra bonus: The room my coworker let me stay in...the microwave was taped up with blue tape and the bathroom door was broken and I slammed my hand in it. That room should have been repaired before they occupied it! The manager told me the day after that she had pictures of the microwave from a month before... This was super distressing to me and made me feel uncomfortable. I'm staying in another hotel for my next trip.
