To warm in rooms no vents

Great location in the heart of Sutton Coldfield. Nice room with character and on the other side of the building from the pub so the music didn't bother us. A little traffic noise but that was to be expected. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, even the cleaners said a friendly good morning and had a chat. You have a super team there. The place has also had a fresh coat of paint since we last stayed and looks nice. Very clean throughout and nice to be able to get a drink and sit in the pub garden in the hot weather. My partner had a cooked breakfast and said it was one of the best he has had in a while and value for money, so top marks to the chef. We will return in the future.

Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfy. It had a wooden box type surround that was slightly away from the wall and as the headboard was mounted on the wall the pillows kept falling through the gap ! The mattress was also quite lumpy and you could feel the springs. It wouldn't stop me from staying again but even a memory foam topper would be an improvement ! The shower screen also leaked but we reported that at reception.

Central location near train station and beautiful Sutton park. Is however a ressonably priced car park.

Although communal areas with wide screen tvs ready for the world cup full aircon . My room.doesnt . That said a fan adequate and rare for it.to hit 34 degrees plus in the uk

Good sized clean rooms, felt a safe environment

There was a lot of night-time noise from their late night music license and particularly from people leaving the premises.
