Nice people, comfortable room and bed. Food generally good, although breakfast this morning was rather thin on the ground - no fruit. I know it’s important in this day and age to be dog friendly if you’re in the hospitality business but there were too many dogs, several of which barked while we were having dinner and breakfast.

Great location and very quiet. Dog friendly and great service. Room massive and brilliant for families. Good breakfast and free. Friendly polite staff. Not so good - food was overpriced and lots of bill errors which were corrected. Lots of menu items not available so limited choice.

Great place, spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking is easy. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely, accommodating, friendly staff. Lovely dinner and breakfast, lots of choices kids also loved the food. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend 💖

Room smelt of wet dog

This is a newbuild property at the back of town but that said it's a big site, plenty of parking, big rooms and plenty of space. The rooms are in a fantastic condition and the staff were extremely friendly. We ate both evening meal and breakfast there and the food was good and reasonably priced. Hotel breakfast differs from their advertised breakfast but is still good. The place clearly runs as a restaurant to locals too. Best bit about the place though was the overtly friendly attitude to dogs. Going beyond the water bowl, they had treats and were very keen to make your favoured pooch feel at home. Separate pet rooms and clear division in the dining area means if you're not happy being around dogs then you can still sit and sleep away from them. 2 mins drive to town centre. Large supermarket about 100 metres away.

Problems checking in was difficult as we had not used our vouchers properly so we ended up paying the hotel However we were allocated a disabled room which was totally unnecessary as we are fortunately not disabled. The room therefore was not suitable for ourselves. Just as a point to consider the room had a bath with a shower overhead into the bath. I would therefore assume not suitable for a disabled person. Shower was not adjustable So not easy to use Food was very good on the night we ate at the Inn and the staff were also very helpful. If you like dogs this is the place for you if you don’t like them in the restaurant where you eat or wandering with their owners to the breakfast food area then perhaps you don’t.

Only whinge, the standard of the breakfast....game needs upping. Other than that -great place to stay
