Property was great, more than what I expected. They don’t have a restaurant service.

El mejor masaje de mi vida! Realmente tiene una excelente masajista. Las toallas son viejas y la ducha no estaba en buena condición. El lugar muy lindo y las personas que trabajan allí muy amables pero si les hace falta atención a las habitaciones. Cada vez que uno desea algo hay q ir a recepción. La piscina tambien se ve algo deteriorada

So clean and different, great service and beautiful beach access, tours available and great food

Everything was absolutely beautiful. Decided to stay another night and they were accommodating to us. Only downside was that the pool was dirty and slow service. If you keep in mind that service is usually like that here then you will be ok. I will definitely be back.

Excellent price with surprisingly comfortable bungalows. The staff, the food, the service were simply amazing. I love that the bungalow’s first floor serves as your dining room. The location was completely safe and secured with travelers from other parts of the world. Will come back for sure.

My partner and I stayed in bungalow #3 and it was just beautiful. I can't understand why anyone would complain about this hotel. Yasira the receptionist was very helpful and so sweet. My partner kept saying that this resort reminded him of the couple's retreat movie, just like paradise. The weather was fantastic! And the beach was amazing! I can only assume that the people that wrote the bad comments are the kind of people that are not happy with anything...just miserable people. We got to release baby turtles into the ocean and it was an experience we will not forget, it is wonderful to see that this country cares about the turtles. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! We had the best time, we will see you soon El Salvador!

I went to this place because the pictures and location looked so good, but my experience wasn't what i really was expecting, here are the reasons and my suggestions if you plan to visit this place: 1. The normal price for a cabin is around $150, for this price you expect everything is going to be perfect or really close to perfect, but during my stay the hot water wasn't working, or better said, it was working but you could have only cold or hot water, but not both at the same time. The hot water was really hot, and the cold was cold. 2. The cabins don't have an intercom to request room service or any service at all, so if you want to have either a drink or food or whatever comes to your mind, you have to get out of your cabin and look for a waiter or go to the reception cabin... yes, this is really inconvenient if you plan to go to rest and enjoy! 3. As there is not intercom, and as this was a trip to rest, i wanted to wake up late, but the waiter was knocking at my door at 8 a.m. to ask if we wanted some breakfast! he woke us up with a bad mood, as he knocked 3 times as we didn't want to get up to respond... but my girlfriend woke up at the 3rd know and she wasn't as polite as she normally is because she was really mad for this experience! 4. There is a bar at the beach, and a restaurant close to the cabins, but none of them are integrated with your cabin service, so each time you order something to drink or food, they ask you to pay, and if you ask for a Frozen as i did, this Frozen cost like 2.5 or 3 dollars, but to pay with credit card they ask a minimum amount of $10... yeah, you can pay in cash, but it's not comfortable for a guest that expects to ask for drinks and food and pay when you leave. Recommendations 1. if you don't care for any or all of the items in my review, go to this place, the cabins are great, really beautiful! 2. if you care for any or all of the items, i advice you to not go to this place and look for other options, or even bring all the things you need, even food and beverages even if the hotel tells you that it's forbidden, but the options they give are not at the level, quality and price you expect in a place as expensive as this one... Final thoughts... -This place is beautiful, but it's way overpriced! -They need to improve their service and offering!

My friends and I showed up at 7pm and they had a hut for us available right away. The bar closed at 7pm but since we had just arrived the staff stayed later to accommodate us which we appreciated so much. They ensure security is present and all the staff is so willing to bend over backwards. I asked for a Smirnoff Ice. They didn’t have any and asked how much I’d be drinking. When I said I’d be drinking pretty much all day, they went out and got me a whole bunch. We also went on an excursion and they prepped a cooler for us and everything. We only stayed the one night but I was so impressed with everything, I came back 2 weeks later with my fiancé and parents and had the same experience. The staff is so amazing (major shoutout to Ester and Miguel!) and truly earn their tips. They remembered me and my name and even said they’d make sure to have more Smirnoff for me. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I’d recommend it going ver and over again. I don’t live in El Salvador but I’ll be starting a night or 2 at Tortuga Village every time I visit. The resort itself is super small, there are only 8 huts, a one big pool. But the beach is beautiful. The resort is very clean and very well maintained. 10/10!
