Pinckney Bend Bed & Breakfast

My husband surprised me with a stay at the Pinckney Bend B&B for our 25th Anniversary. It could have not been more perfect! The B&B sits high on a Missouri river bluff providing spectacular views of the countryside, wildlife and tons of romance! The room was spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we ate on our balcony and watched the views change as the sun rose. Absolutely stunning! This would be a great spot for girls weekend while visiting nearby wineries. I highly recommend the Pinckney Bend B&B!

The room was beautiful, with an amazing view of the river. We watched bald eagles fly around all over the area. The owners were super nice and provided a tour of their home, as well as the other room available to rent. Breakfast was delicious! I would definitely recommend this B&B!

Tom and Tricia have created two beautiful, clean, thoughtfully decorated cottages on their property. Each room has a microwave, keurig, toaster oven, refrigerator, with plates/cups/coffee/etc. The Fish Haus is larger than a hotel room, fitting a sitting area with rocking chair and a handsome sofa bed. The Wine Haus is hotel room size and slightly better views. The view is spectacular, you can see the Pinckney Bend of the Missouri River and the surrounding countryside. Each room has a private porch area to rest, take a meal. We enjoyed the sound of the flowing river and the many varieties of birds. New Haven is a very small town 25 minutes from larger Hermann and Washington. This is not a place to run out and get something you forgot at 10 pm, or even get a nice meal (though the mexican restaurant El Ranchito was great, check their hours). Luckily you wont want to leave your cottage! My husband and I went to do some wine tasting and ended up canceling our second day's activities to just soak in this spot. When considering the price, remember that it includes breakfast, and oh what a breakfast! Tricia loves to prepare a European inspired meal of ample portions. We enjoyed every bite out on our porch. Tom and Tricia are incredibly sweet, interesting people. We enjoyed several chats with them. Their company alone would be a reason to return.
