Easy parking , the midges where out in force to greet us , and see us off , lovely big downstairs bedroom with very new refreshed bathroom with a large stylish bath and big shower, good hot water . Good evening meal selection,not burgers ! Lasagna , and the Chicken curry where lovely , vey hot and good sized portions, followed by Apple crumble with cinnamon and custard which was perfect. Very quiet surroundings with a very good night sleep in a very comfortable massive king size bed .The lady and gent who served us where both working very efficiently, polite and courteous even whilst under pressure, they had a booking for seven arrive who had managed to send an e.mail to cancel , but they still sorted them out and got them in. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our NC500 tour , but was individual enough to be worth the rate , very comfortable.

Great food, comfortable bed all located 10 miles from anywhere. Great place to stay if you like peace and quiet but expect good food

Great stay

A delightful stay while cycling my way up the country. A comfy bed and delicious food. The hotel has plenty of character and a lovely homely feel.

In a pretty remote location but not a bad base for exploring the Highlands provided you havr your own transport. Rooms were comfortable with a nice bath shower. The evening meals were of exceptional quality with friendly and helpful staff.

Room was small but reasonable. Had a country, homey feel. Food was quite good. Relaxed atmosphere. Hostess was lively, positive and helpful. We weren't there to fish, so perhaps missed out on its main attraction. Staff shortages impacted was services could be offered. For what it was, seemed quite expensive. Internet was a bit patchy.

Very pleasant overnight stay in nice room. Dinner and breakfast were good and staff all helpful. Comfy areas to lounge with a drink after dinner.
