"Authentic and atmospheric "

Wonderfully isolated and atmospheric. It was perfectly situated for me to stay 3 nights and drive around exploring Sutherland. Nice staff and guests. More of a rustic lodge feel than dressy hotel. Restrained and authentic

"Comfortable stop-over"

A pleasant and comfortable stay in the heart of the north Highlands. It is some thirty years since I last stayed at Altnaharra as a mountain walker and it has kept up to date with times. It was relaxing and the service was excellent.
