Kimberley Club Guesthouse

I enjoyed the historical paintings, photos, maps best. What a jewel! Staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

What a gem (pun intended, given the diamond history)!! Beautiful, grand old clubhouse that now cheerfully welcomes visitors of all types. If you (like me) appreciate history, this has it in spades as well as being a comfortable room with a lovely breakfast. If you’re visiting the Big Hole nearby, this is also the ideal compliment, as the club was built together with the buildup of Kimberley’s diamond industry. Highly recommended !!

All historic buildings have quirks. The only minor issues here were the time it took for the water to get hot and the finicky doorknob.

The breakfast was super good and it was well prepared, the location was not bad at all it's close to complex and many entertainment places so overall our stay was good.

The sense of history. Everything is well preserved and the rooms are comfortable.

We faced a busy road and had a night disturbed by speeding cars and disco music. It was a Saturday night which probably explained the noise. The location is not the greatest.
