Kimberley Club Guesthouse

Our host, Thabang was truly exceptional. He took us for a tour of this historical house and made us understand the rich history behind the house.

The place could be better sign posted. It is not difficult to find but a casual visitor might miss it

Beautiful, so much history attached to the Hotel. Great to see how it has been managed to maintain so much of the original pieces of history.

The area was not great. Kimberley unfortunately is not a great place. It is dirty, unkempt and does not feel safe at all. The Kimberley hole is good to see. Getting there is interesting.

The historic environment and growing up in Kimberley, ticked the box on places to stay.

The quality of the food was nothing to write home about, especially looking at the prices. The room closets have mould and appears attention to detail is overlooked.

An absolute delight and a step back in time. A beautiful, well maintained hotel that takes you to a bygone era. Just a pity that we were the only people there for our first night and another couple of people there the 2nd night. Would be fabulous to see the hotel bustling with people.

Bar and dining room service a bit slow, but considering we were the only people there, one cannot expect them to have staff sitting in the bar hoping someone will pop in

The decor was great. Staff helpful. Loved the old style feel to the guesthouse.

Location wasn’t great for us as two single women travelling and arriving at night. Shower needs attention.. battled with the pressure.
