Lovely old building with a lot of history

Shower was terrible, and there was mould on the ceiling

The ambience is everything! It is old school and historic. The old mining town Gentlemen's Club shines through. The restaurant is good without breaking the budget. There is plenty of secure parking!

The neighborhood is sadly deteriorating, and the municipality is letting Kimberley down. This is not a showstopper to experience the old ways.

The sense of history and old-school luxury just seeps out of every corner of this hotel. They have immaculately preserved the historic aspects, but added the necessary modern touches like a free-standing bath and aircon. We had great meals and got to play snooker on a full size table.

The carpets and decor need a refresh - would be great to have a contemporary touch alongside the historic elements; also the surrounding area along Currey Street needs a clean up, part of the street is used as a toilet (presumably by homeless people) which is quite disgusting, the local municipality should be encouraged to carry out proper street cleaning in the vicinity of the club
