Quinta Cielo - Hotel Boutique y Restaurante

The main restaurant area and garden is lovely.

Room was very basic and the bed sank in.

Schönes Hotel in einem grossen Garten mit Fruchtbäumen und Kaffeesträuchern. Ruhige Lage. Beheizter Pool. Freundliches Personal. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Staff was absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed lounging by the pool. Main house is absolutely gorgeous, featuring lots of original artwork. Breakfast was simple yet filling. It's a bit of a walk (some of it steep) from the center of town, but we enjoyed the quiet location and the closeness of the mountains. Great bed and sheets.

Shower nozzle has a water-saving design that shoots out very sharp jets of water. Was a little bit painful!

The included continental breakfast was great (concha, fruit and granola), and there was an option to buy a bigger breakfast. The pool is really nice, and big enough to do some laps! Not heated, but was warm enough in October. The location is a 10 minute walk from the center of Malinalco and several attractions, pretty good. Bed was comfortable.

The "Mountain view" was mostly obscured from our room The sound isolation from the room above was not good - could hear kids and even a cat running around. The room smelled a bit musty, not too bad though.
