Quinta Cielo - Hotel Boutique y Restaurante

The property is gorgeous. A little oasis. The hotel was built by the owner's grandparents and is extremely unique.

The hotel did not honor our reservation. Instead, we witnessed them give away our room to another party who did not have a reservation. (We were not late--- we arrived exactly at the time we specified.) It seemed that there was really no one in charge, and the person we dealt with had no authority to help us. I think the property is suffering from a severe lack of decent management. We walked around and saw one room (smaller and less equipped than what we had reserved for the same price) -- and what we saw looked more neglected and poorly maintained than the photos show. It's too bad--- the property has a lot of potential, but we will not return. A zero on the hospitality scale.

Oasis. Beautiful garden. Art everywhere. Very unusual architecture as the dining room and living room had cathedral high ceilings. Wonderful staff. Sometimes things were in Zen mexico time. Superb breakfast. They always had water bottles for you. Great clean pool. Very safe also at night. Great restaurants in Malinalco. Our favorites were Los Placeres and la Valentina. Much as gracias.

Stray Barking dogs at night we know it's part of Mexico A public tee kettle for hot water in the kitchen would be great. I would love it if hotels in that category would install a filtered water system so the waste of little plastic bottles would slow down.

There's lots to like about this place. Bright rooms with comfortable beds. A lovely enclosed patio for breakfast/meals. Beautiful art. Beautiful views of the valley from upstairs rooms.

I couldn't get the hot water to work, it wasn't clear which tap was hot or cold. There was something next door which had a pungent smell depending on the wind direction.

Beautiful place

Too expensive to what is delivered. I particularly didn’t like how most of the time there was no one available. Also, I was told that I had to come and go at certain times otherwise there wouldn’t be anyone to open the door. And when there was, I had to wait 10 minutes outside, at night, and call the owner so someone would come and open for me.

Property location was excellent very close of town, walking distance in a quite area

every thig was great, my intention was to relax and forget about craziness of the city, no matter it was a short stay we could relax
