Apartments Vista Oceano

L’appartement Vista Oceano est confortable, avec une très belle vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine après une journée de randonnée est une vrai plus ! Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et chaleureux !

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Eine schöne Aussicht auf das Meer vom Balkon und dem liebevoll gepflegten kleinen Garten mit Pool und Honesty-Bar. Ian und Maria waren immer für uns da, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Viel herzliches Lachen und angenehmer Kontakt :)

Wir müssten uns wirklich anstrengen, damit uns irgendetwas Verbesserungswürdiges einfällt. Dazu haben wir keine Lust. Es war ein rundherum tolles Erlebnis und wir können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen.

The best thing about our stay was surely the view the little garden and the pool area, and, of course, our hosts!! They are so friendly and such lovely people!

Beware of the parking situation: You can only turn around further down the road with a small car and/or a lot of nerves. And there are mosquitos, so take a good repellent with you (I'm allergic, so maybe that just bothered me)

Prachtig appartement met zicht over de zee en een groot balkon met lekkere zitjes. Rustige accommodatie. Zalig zwembad en fantastische host (Ian and Maria). Goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer (bus), maar uber werkt ook goed.

we liked everything about this apartment, the owners were amazing through out. for the journey back to the airport we were worrying about getting a taxi at 3am , So Ian the owner dove us for a small charge. the room was large with a kitchen , 2 seating areas and a sofa and a fantastic garden with different seating you could use throughout, a small pool and an honesty bar with a lovely range of drinks and views over the bay, amazing

only slight niggle was the shower took a while to warm up , the first time i used it i thought i would have to have a cold shower. the location was fine for us as we like walking but on the odd occasion we were to tired to walk back up the 25 minutes so opted for an uber which was about 4-5 euros so might be harder for less mobile people

The hosts were very welcoming, we feit at home.

We loved our stay at Vista Oceano. The initial impression was awe as the apartment not only has all the amenities you will ever need during your holiday, but also amazing views and perfect location. We explored the island by car, and the location was just perfect for that with parking provided. Also, it was convenient that the centre of Funchal was within walking distance. Ian and Maria are truly exceptional hosts. We hope to return one day!
